Confidence can be a very good thing; and it was back in the dugout tonight as Eastlake dominated Bothell on their home field under the lights. Brandon Eggers had a very successful debut as a starter with 4 innings of smart pitching and 1 strikeout. Nick Whitworth was both the starting catcher and closing pitcher. Batting left-handed, Nick had 2 RBIs on a double and single. Brett Upchurch also had 2 RBIs. Joel Newberry had an RBI on a single in the 3rd inning, and Mike Carrigan also had an RBI in the same inning, along with Whitworth�s single. All three Eastlake runs in the 3rd inning were scored with 2 outs (so what?) on the team. Ben Campbell�s RBI in the 6th inning sealed the deal for Eastlake.
