Eastlake 1
Eastlake's season came to an end after losing to Enumclaw 4-1. The game was
played on 2 different days with rain coming in the middle of
the 5th inning. Both teams had to change pitchers for the second
day. Nick Whitworth pitched 5 innings on Saturday allowing 2
earned runs with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. Tim Pickard pitched the
last 2 innings giving up no runs, 1 hit, 1 strikeout and 1 walk.
Eastlake had only 4
hits. Ben Campbell went 2-4, had a steal, scored a run and
reached base twice on Enumclaw errors. Bryan Yates had an RBI
triple off the wall. L. P. Angelo had a hit. Anthony Berhold
walked twice. Tim Ahern was hit by a pitch twice. Ted Hickey and
L. P. Angelo made great defensive plays.
