Eastlake 4, Lake Washington 3

Eastlake won a too-close-for-comfort loser out playoff game against Lake Washington at Woodinville High School. Nick Whitworth pitched a complete game, giving up 2 earned runs with 8 strikeouts and no walks. Eastlake's batters had 6 hits and showed good patience at the plate with 6 walks. Danny Ballance led Eastlake with 2 RBI's. Tim Ahern and L. P. Angelo each had an RBI. Ben Campbell had 2 hits. Tim Ahern, Sean Teague, L. P. Angelo, and Danny Ballance also had hits for Eastlake. Bryan Yates, Sean Teague, L. P. Angelo, and Anthony Berhold scored Eastlake's 4 runs. Ben Campbell and Sean Teague each had a steal. Tim Ahern, Anthony Berhold, and Sean Rockey had sacrifice bunts.

Now Eastlake is in the double elimination part of the tournament. Eastlake plays Woodinville at Inglemoor Thursday night at 7.
