Eastlake 8, Woodinville 8
Eastlake and
Woodinville played to an 8-8 tie in 8 innings at Peter Kirk Park.
The offense was led by Mike Holt's triple and David Eicholz's home
run. In the 7th, the score became tied 7-7 when Ryan Johns helped
his great pitching effort by executing a squeeze bunt that allowed
the tying run to score. In the 8th, Mike Holt stole home on a
passed ball to tie the game at 8-8. The game was called after 8
innings when the Lake Washington High School coach claimed the
field for his team's 7 p.m. game.
