Eastlake ended the
season in first place with a 17-2-1 record as they defeated
Roosevelt 11-0 behind the pitching of Chris Babbitt, who threw a
complete game one-hitter. The offense was led by a triple by Ryan
Johns and doubles by Mike Holt and Sam Hickey. For the season,
Eastlake outscored their opponents 199 - 42, which included eleven
shutouts.
